Green Team at the Wilmette Maker Fest! 

The Green Team was thrilled to participate in this year's Maker Fest at the Wilmette Public Library. Check out the photos below of this fun event! Thanks to all who came out!

Maker Fest! 

The Green Team is proud to announce that we will have a booth at this year's Maker Fest! The Maker Fest is a fun afternoon at the Wilmette Public Library where you can learn how things are created from different creators, and even make some fun things yourself! 

The Green Team will be teaching about sustainable crafts - that means we're using something that would normally be garbage and finding a re-use for it!  We'll be using plastic one-time use water bottles and creating piggy banks with them! Come on by and create your own piggy bank with us! 

The Maker Fest is on Saturday March 9th from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Check out the Wilmette Public Library's website for more information. 

It's Time for the Annual 

Holiday Light Drive! 

Start Collecting Pop Tabs!!!!

Pop Tab collections are starting up again this year! Collect pop tabs from cans at home and bring them to your classroom. Then, once a month the Green Team will collect pop tabs from all the classrooms. Pop tabs will be weighed, recycled and donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The class with the most pop tabs each month will win the Golden Pop Tab Award!      Check out the video below for more information. The first pop tab collection date will be October 26th this year!
